That’s why we built the Apex Hoody—to combine the comfort and functionality of your old hooded sweatshirt with the technology and performance brought to you by the world’s most advanced hard-faced fleece. We kept everything you love about your favorite hooded sweatshirt and made it better. The classic, insulated kangaroo pocket includes zippers, so you can safely store a fly box, phone, or tools in there. We added hidden locks to the drawstring hood for easy adjustment. We replaced cotton with bomber Karuishi® Fleece, and added full-stretch and articulation in the arms. You can still wear it on the couch, but when you get bored and decide to hit the river, you won’t need to change.

Dual layer Karuishi® fleece provides low-bulk insulation and next to skin comfort. A tightly-woven outer layer resists snagging and abrasion while the C6 DWR finish creates a hydrophobic barrier to repel water.

Full-Stretch, Breathable Fleece
Karuishi® Fleece is a high-volume, two-layer textile with both loft and durability. This fleece is created through a unique knitting process that creates a soft, insulating interior and a tightly-woven, durable face without using glues or laminates like other multi-layer fleeces. The absence of glues and laminates increases stretch and breathability giving you a high-performance, mid-layer garment that keeps you comfortable on the water without compromise.
