General Information
Located in the heart of Bristol Bay and Katmai National Park, Enchanted Lake Lodge focuses on the region’s prolific numbers of trophy rainbow trout, arctic char, Dolly Varden, and Arctic grayling. All 5 species of Pacific salmon are available throughout the season, but Enchanted Lake prides itself on being a “rainbow-focused” destination. Your daily itinerary will change depending on your preferences and the best fishing conditions during your trip. With proximity to many of Alaska’s most productive fisheries, you will have access to many of the world-famous trout streams for which the state is known.
Fishing options at Enchanted Lake include the Kulik River, American, Brooks, Battle, Big and Little Ku, Moraine, Funnel, Kvichak, and many more. Enchanted Lake takes great pride in having a solid, well-versed group of guides. A day on the water with one of these experts will not disappoint even the most seasoned angler!
Boats and Equipment
Lodge aircraft include two beautifully rebuilt De Havilland Beavers for access to multiple rivers each day during your stay. The Lodge also has two brand new Wooldridge boats for striking the Kulik River from Nonvianuk Lake, and many jet boats stationed across Bristol Bay’s most productive streams for rapid relocation during your day on the water. The Lodge is also equipped with small rafts to access multiple miles of rivers, allowing anglers to cover lots of water while still being able to get out and wade productive runs. Although the lodge can provide gear of the highest quality, it is recommended that anglers bring their own rods, reels, waders, and wading boots.
