Lodging Details
Healing Waters Lodge is designed with the comfort of their guests in mind. Each room has a unique western feel and is named after prominent historical figures or landmarks in the area. There are 12 total rooms, and lodge typically maxes out at 22 guests when at full capacity. Guests can also enjoy an outdoor hot tub, exercise room, and practice their casting skills on the stocked pond on the property as well.

Food & Beverages
Guests will start their day with a full made-to-order breakfast in the main dining hall before meeting their guide. The lodge will ensure you have a full mid-day lunch and beverages of choice ready to go while out on the water. When you return from fishing, guests can gather in the sun room that adjoins the dining hall, or sit outside on the covered porch to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and an appetizer before dinner is serviced family sit-down style.

Non-Angling Activities and Options
For non-angling guests, there are numerous non-angling activities available. Guided horseback rides into the pristine Ruby Mountains or golf at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Old Works Golf Course in Anaconda, Montana are wonderful options. Naturalist-guided hiking trips can be arranged on miles of wilderness trails and there are sightseeing and photography trips to historic Virginia City, the Big Hole Battlefield, or Montana’s first territorial capital, Bannack.

Internet / Communications
Wi-Fi access is available in all onsite buildings, and cell phone reception is generally good throughout the property as well.

How to Get There
We recommend flying in and out of Bozeman (BZN). Guests can either rent a car, or a shuttle can be arranged for an additional cost. Drive time from the airport to the lodge is 1.5 hours. Check-in time is any time after 3 PM and check-out time is before 10 AM.

Documents Required
Fishing licenses are available at most area fly shops and sporting goods stores throughout Montana. However, the most convenient way to purchase your fishing licenses is online by visiting the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks website.

General Information
Healing Waters Lodge will strive to make your adventure on the water a true Montana fly fishing experience. Within a one-hour radius drive of the lodge, guests can float the larger rivers in southwest Montana such as the Beaverhead, Big Hole, Jefferson, and Madison. Or mix things up and walk and wade on one of their privately leased smaller rivers, spring creeks, or stillwaters in the area. Healing Waters Lodge has the biggest portfolio of private water in Southwest Montana. The lodge is privileged to have experienced, knowledgeable, and personable group of guides on their staff. Their primary goal is to provide guests with a fun Montana fishing experience.

Remember that Yellow Dog’s services are completely free! When you book a trip with Yellow Dog, you never pay more than when you book directly with the lodge.

2025 Pricing (based on double occupancy)
3 nights / 2 days = $3,300.00 per person
4 nights / 3 days = $4,400.00 per person
5 nights / 4 days = $5,250.00 per person
6 nights / 5 days = $6,050.00 per person

Healing Waters Lodge Terms & Conditions
Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts the deposit, cancellation, refund and responsibility clauses for these packages. A deposit of 50% per person is due within 10 days of booking for all trip packages and reservations, and final payment if due 90 days prior to arrival. All trip cancellations must be received in writing, sent to Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures, LLC. For all cancellations outside of 120 days of scheduled arrival at the lodge, a full refund or a trip credit (minus a $200 per cancellation fee) will be issued. For cancellations inside of 120 days, deposits and final payments will be forfeited, and no refund or credit will be issued. If a cancelled package is resold by either the lodge or by Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures, then a full refund will be issued. In the case of cancellation by the client, both deposit and final payment may be transferred to another guest or angler for those same (original) dates if facilitated and arranged by the client. Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures strongly recommends that anglers and guests purchase travel insurance.

Payment Terms for All Yellow Dog Trip Bookings  
Unless otherwise noted on your invoice, for all trips less than 90 days out, full payment is required after receipt of the confirmation email to secure guides and reservations. For trips outside of 90 days, a 50% deposit is required upon receipt of confirmation email to confirm your reservations.   

Yellow Dog accepts on-line payments via a secure payment portal – a quick and easy way to complete your trip reservation. Please reach out to accounting@yellowdogflyfishing.com to gain access. 

Yellow Dog Flyfishing Standard Forms of Payment 

• Debit card (fee-free) and credit card (3% convenience fee) - to pay via card please utilize the customer payment portal. If you need assistance, reach out to 406-585-8667 ext. #3 
• Wires - please include name and/or invoice number for reference on your wire. Please reach out to accounting@yellowdogflyfishing.com for wiring instructions. (client is responsible for wiring fees)
