9' 5WT Winston Air 2

When I first picked up the Winston Air 2, the first thing that I noticed how light the rod was. After casting it for a while, it became evident that this rod was faster than Winstons I had cast in the past. While the rod is faster than most Winstons, it still has that classic Winston "feel". Another thing that stood out to me was how effortless it was to manipulate my casts as I wanted. If I want, I can cast laser right loops at a high rate of speed, or present my flies in a more delicate manner, with ease. Now that I have fished this rod consistently for two years, I can say that I love fishing dry flies and dry dropper rigs with it. And, if need be, I can tie on a nymph rig and have confidence that it will roll over some heavier rigs as well.
