EP Crab - 3-Tone

Description

Enrico Puglisi's trademark EP Crab is one of those modern favorites that won't be going anywhere. Borrowing most of its characteristics from Del Brown's legendary Merkin crab, the EP Crab has some slight tweaks that appeal to flats creatures. The tail is made from a combination of grizzly marabou feathers, offering plenty of enticing static movement as it sways and undulates in the water. The EP Crab also features their signature synthetic fibers versus the original yarn of the Merkin. The result is a crab carapace imitation that is very lifelike (and durable). The legs used also offer a bit more wiggle and sway than a traditional merkin, with fire orange tips to really stand out. We consider the EP Crab a staple permit pattern, but the size 8 beadchain version is also a silent killer for tailing bonefish, as well as when you find tailing permit on super shallow flats.
