Lodging Details
Accommodations are not included with these Fly-Fishing Day Trips basing out of Bozeman, Montana. For travelers planning to overnight in the Bozeman or Big Sky area, we can recommend some local hotel options across many budgets and with various amenities.
Food and Beverages
Your guide will provide a packed cooler with lunch and assorted beverages, including water. Beer and alcohol are not included. Lunches are often had stream-side with tables and chairs or enjoyed while sitting in the boat enjoying the scenery.
Typical Length of Fishing Day
The standard fishing day is six to eight hours long, with most guides amenable to varying times to suit your needs. Typical days have you departing between 7 and 8 AM and returning between 4 and 6 PM.

Payment Terms for All Yellow Dog Trip Bookings
Unless otherwise noted on your invoice, for all trips less than 90 days out, full payment is required after receipt of the confirmation email to secure guides and reservations. For trips outside of 90 days, a 50% deposit is required upon receipt of confirmation email to confirm your reservations.
Yellow Dog accepts on-line payments via a secure payment portal – a quick and easy way to complete your trip reservation. Please reach out to accounting@yellowdogflyfishing.com to gain access.

Greg Bricker’s Freestone Fly Fishing Outfitters offers both float and wade fishing trips on the Yellowstone, Missouri, Jefferson, Gallatin, and Madison Rivers with full and half day options. Our fundamental philosophy emphasizes finding solitude while providing great fishing opportunities, we fully believe fishing is better on the road less traveled. All trips include complimentary usage of rods/reels, all flies and terminal tackle, lunch, beverages, and transportation. Classes, instruction, and individual/group lessons are available upon request.
