Lodging Details
Guest accommodations feature 4 identical suites. Each with a private bathroom, queen size bed, hide a bed, gas log fireplace, refrigerator, and private sitting area under a very large window overlooking the valley. With a large porch and a million-dollar view, it is situated in front of the lodge’s stocked trout pond. The cabins feature 1,000 thread count sheets and imported comforters and shams. All meals are provided in the spacious lodge main building which is a short walk from the cabins. The main lodge features a commercial kitchen, dining room and sitting areas, two fireplaces, a billiards room, and a bar with a flat screen television. With plenty of windows and a wraparound porch, guests enjoy a spectacular view of the Wood River Valley, framed with Noon Point as its backdrop.
Food and Beverages
One thing is for certain while staying at the ranch – guests will not go hungry or thirsty during their stay. From hearty breakfasts, well-planned lunches, to four-course dinners, the food should certainly be something to look forward to. And in addition to the food, there is always a wide assortment of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and mixers always ready to be poured including excellent spirits, wines, and beers.
Non-Angling Activities and Options
The Wood River Valley has a rich history to share and there’s no better way to share it than to see it. If your arms get tired from all the catching you can rent an UTV and tour the old mining town of Kirwin. Guests will leave the ranch in their UTVs and ride the 11 miles of rugged dirt roads up to the old mining town. Leaving the ranch, the Wood River Valley quickly narrows into shear granite cliffs falling to the valley floor. The trip to Kirwin climbs 2,800 feet up rugged roads and river crossings and dead ends in the town. You can walk through the whole town and enter most the old buildings. The nearby town of Meeteetse also offers visitors a taste of the old west with its still intact wooden boardwalks and horse hitching post. Cody also offers a long list of things to see and do including the famous Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
Internet / Communications
Wi-Fi access is available in all cabins and in the main lodge building. Cell phone reception throughout the property and in the surrounding area is dependent on the provider.
How to Get There
Most anglers fly in via the Cody-Yellowstone Regional Airport (COD), located 50 miles from the lodge. Cody is serviced by United and Delta.
Documents Required
All anglers 14 years old or older will need to purchase a Wyoming fishing license. We recommend doing this online before arrival by going to the Wyoming Game & Fish Department website.

General Information
The Wood River is home to one of the most genetically pure Yellowstone Cutthroat in the region. The river is managed by natural reproduction as a wild fishery. The ranch has exclusive fishing opportunities on 10 miles of the Wood River and carefully manages these rare waters. Their guides implement strict catch-and-release techniques, and they rest sections between guests’ trips to ensure the quality remains unmatched on the Wood River. The South Fork of the Wood drops into the Wood River a mile from the lodge and runs up the valley gaining elevation. As the river meanders up it pools out into a fun pocket fishery filled with hungry cutthroat. Anglers can access these waters on horseback under a special permit and ride up around 3 miles with guides and wranglers. On this creek, anglers will find themselves hopping boulders and wading through the canyon to a waiting shore lunch on the river where you can fish a bit more or ride back to the lodge. The nearby Greybull River and Bighorn River are also possibilities to fish.
